iCloud "REVERT" my changes

Hi

I have been observing this for more than 3 months before I decide to report it to the community.

I have been using iCloud drive for many year. I use Number, Pages, Keynote, Preview (lots of them) as well as storing many other documents. It is a great place for storage, ease of access etc.

I am also a heavy user of Preview app. I use it to manage ALL my PDFs from scanning, cropping, annotation and including inserting signature. It is a great app, simple and yet powerful.

I am also a person of keeping track of my personal finances, expenses, readings and more. I scan bills, receipt, invoices and make notes on each PDF. I have been doing this for years.

About 6 months ago, I noticed something weird. I scan the bank statement, utility bill, pay slip etc. I crop only what I want to keep, I make notes about them (e.g. Amazon purchase for nephew) etc. Then I save and exit.

I do the same the following month. Only to find out that what I made the previous month are gone. So I told myself that maybe I forget to save. So I do it again (sometime I forget what I did last month, but that is not a big deal) I won't die because of not recording it. It's just my lifestyle and habit.

I make changes for the current month, and it is gone again the next month. So after 2-3 months, I became aware and take note if I did save the PDFs, so I re-open to confirm that I did make the change.

But guess what, the change is lost again when the next time I open it!!

I have proof about it and have no clue what is happening to my iCloud service.

I am sorry for the long essay as I do not know how to write shorter and yet able to bring out the agony I am facing with this.

Kindly advise the necessary. Thank you.

Regards,

James
