I bought an Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter for my macbook pro last year, but USB C port of adaptor doesn't work, it can't not charge or connect to any device. This costs me $69.00, could I replace a new one?

I assume you can't replace it with new one, though try to contact Apple support if it could replace with new one or if your adapter is still under one year limited warranty, Apple at Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider should fix it up for free.

The USB-C port on that adapter is a charge-ONLY port. Its only data pathways are USB-2, suitable for negotiating USB Power delivery, and nothing more.

If the same power adapter works without the AV in between then the device is defective. It comes with its own 1-year warranty.

And when you plug the same power adapter directly into the same port (no AV adapter) it charges just fine?
How should I do ? send it or make an appointment, I have checked the location around my place, there are no any availabile date to select.
