Sometimes the airpods do not charge while in the case.

My right airpod used to not always charge while in the case. Now the left one is not charging. Any suggestions?

A Few Thoughts:

A. A Few Links to Visit:

B. Try the Following Tasks:

  • Hold Down the Button on the case for about 15 seconds.

  • Use an Apple Brand Cable - not a third party one - cool though it may look, a fabric, third-part cable would likely tear - (Apple cable's are plastic and are intended for Apple)

  • Remove the AirPod from the Case, then place it back in the charger. Perhaps it need to resync with he charger.

Make sure there’s no debris within the charging pocket, and no debris located along the case rim. The former can block electrical contact with the AirPods, and the latter can prevent the case from charging. I’ve had similar issues as what you’re describing, due to a very little amount of crud preventing the cover from fully seating.
