Apple ID
Just got a new phone, it’s asking me to put in my Apple ID but it’s my gmail account, i reset the password but it’s still not logging in. I don’t want to use my gmail i just want to use my icloud.

Use What to do after you change your Apple ID or Password https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204071to. keep other things from going wrong.
You'll have to use whatever Apple ID you entered when you set your new phone up. But, of course, you can change your Apple ID. But, you can't change it to you iCloud Apple ID because that would amount to combining Apple ID accouts--which you can't do.

You also could create new Apple ID, but doing so also creates problems. So, unless you post back saying you are interested in this option, then I won't provide instructions..
