Audio - NDI output

I am connecting my MBP running High Sierra to a streaming application on my iMac by way of NDI. I can get the video okay, but no system audio from my MBP. The only audio I can get is from the microphone of the MBP and not the application running on the MBP. Is there a setting adjustment I need to make?

Thank you.

NDI Scan Converter on OSX will use the default audio input device, typically this will be the microphone of the system.

If you want to get system audio, you will need to install an audio loopback application. Some freely available options for OSX are 'SoundFlower' or 'iShowU Audio Capture'. Once you get one of these installed, select it as both the output and input device in the sound control panel. Do be aware that you will not hear audio play out of the Mac speakers while these are selected as all audio will be directed to loopback adapter in this configuration.
