When does a new day for Apple Store repair appointments open?

Apologies if there is a better forum than this one, I didn't see general or Apple Store forums, and this is about a Macbook Air repair.

Right now all Apple Store appointments in all SF Bay Area stores are booked for the 7 days that are visible. I just saw (About 12pm) that one store opened up the today+7 day, but the other stores don't have that day yet. Do you know how this works, is this a manual decision by every store? I'm trying to time is so that I can get one of the newly opened appointments.

I finally got an appointment. My observation how it seems to work for the benefit of other end users:

Appointments seem to get released exactly 7*24 hours + 15 minutes ahead. So for example at 2:45pm on 06/09, an appointment for 2:30pm on 6/16 is released. I couldn't confirm this is for all stores, but I saw this for a few. There might be other reasons that some appointments are already taken, I heard that stores can manually schedule further out than 7 days. The scheduling app shows 7 days (Circles with Mon, Tue, Wed,...), but if an appointment is open on the 8th day, they show that day as well.

I think the appointments open up for the next day out in the wee hours of the morning. You may have seen one appear around noon at one particular store if someone cancelled.

May I ask what issue you were looking to get repaired on your MacBook Air?

What's the issue? If it's an obvious enough issue or one that can be reasonably explained, the turnaround time to mail in the machine and get it repaired and sent back to you is fairly fast. That's what I did with a 13" MacBook Pro recently. Worked out very well! Was only without the machine for less than 48 hours.

Ah, OK. As you may know, the county of Santa Clara mandates all indoor businesses institute capacity limits based on square footage. This impacts reservation times at the Apple Store, of course. So I would recommend just booking one of the appointments that you've seen open up. And I would also note that you have a better chance with stores that are physically larger. Valley Fair, for example, is a small store compared to Oakridge.

Since we are all other end users here, we do not know how Apple makes those decisions unless they make a public announcement - sorry. You'll need to check with Apple or call a store directly.

This is for a Service Battery warning after ~700 battery cycles. I'm also seeing the machine randomly switching off at > 50% battery. I think a new battery is due.

I've seen other stores randomly opening up, Palo Alto just opened Thu 6/16 as well and is almost fully booked again. Others like Los Gatos, SJ Oakridge, SJ Valley Fair, etc are only showing up to Wed 6/15. There doesn't seem rhyme or reason when they are opening up an extra day.
