external microphones for iPad Pro 11 2nd generation with Explain Everything and Zoom

I am looking for a high quality external microphone that works with Zoom and Explain Everything running on iPad Pro 11 (2nd generation). I am preparing a series of pre-recorded online videos with audio for a course I'll be teaching in the Fall 2020, and would also like to provide high quality audio for live lectures that will be conducted via Zoom and recorded for later use by the students. I tried a Neat BumbleBee Professional microphone, recommended by my university. It provides very good quality audio, but unfortunately it does not work with neither Zoom nor Explain Everything on iPad Pro 11. I tried various USB/usb-c adapters, including the one recommended for iPad Pro 11 by Apple, none worked with Zoom or Explain Everything and BumbleBee microphone. Interestingly, Garage Band on iPad Pro 11 recognizes BumbleBee, but Voice Memos does not.

I was hoping for Apple to provide such recommendation, but the only advice I got from them was to contact other Apple users within Apple support community in hope that someone may have had a chance to find a specific microphone manufacturer for the iPad Pro 11-inch 2 generation to work with Explain everything and Zoom. I'd appreciate any advice
