I gave my Apple Watch to my sister ai nd it keeps saying the watch isn’t updated. I’ve already deleted it what should I do next

I gave my series 3 Apple Watch to my sister and I unpaired it and deleted it from my iCloud. She’s trying to pair it with her iPhone 5s and it keeps saying it’s not updated. What can I do to resolve this issue

She needs an iPhone 6s or later running iOS 13 or later to pair with the Watch.

If your watch has watchOS6 then it won't pair with a 5s you need a phone with ios13 and a 5s can only update to ios12.
