CarPlay Audio VERY glitchy
Over the past 6 months I've had huge issues with my CarPlay Audio being very glitchy! The screen display works fine and I can use all the apps in CarPlay with out issue, but any audio sounds like a skipping, scratching old record (vinyl). I have a 2017 GMC YukonXL with GMC's Intellilink Entertainment system, I have an iPhone 7 with the latest iOS and use a wired connection through my car's USB ports. I have replaced several cords thinking this was related to a faulty cord, but it's still happening. My phone both charges and displays on my dash without difficulty, just the sound is the issue. Also, I've had the phone and car for two+ years so that isn't a factor in these last 6 months.
