restore old iPad not in cloud

how do I restore my old 32 gb iPad. it has been s\disabled for years because nothing has worked. it was originally signed into. my iTunes but will not connect. the cloud was not a thing when I got this device so it is not on the cloud. when I try to connect to my computer by holding the home button it does nothing. it just continues to say iPad is disabled and to connect to iTunes

Even if you restore this iPad, you'll be very disappointed to learn a very old iPad, can't run many apps anymore. You won't be able to run Netflix, Youtube, Facebook, etc. and the list goes on and on as these old devices, which were 32 bit technology have been replaced with 64 bit processors.


You can try the directions in this link to restore it, but any data you had on it is gone for sure --> If you forgot the passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is disabled - Apple Support
