Microsoft Office 2019 Compatibility

I need to upgrade my operating system but I am currently using Microsoft Office 2011 and it won't run if I upgrade to Catalina. But my computer is not listed under the compatibility for Microsoft Office 2019. I have a Mid 2012 13" MacBook Pro.

What are my options? Will Office 2019 still work even though my computer is not listed?

Please help!

Presently, Microsoft requires macOS High Sierra (10.13.6), or newer release of macOS, in order to install/activate new Microsoft 365 and Office 2019 for Mac products. This is because Microsoft tracks Apple's three-year sliding window of support for macOS. Once macOS 10.11 (Big Sur) is released this Fall, Microsoft will soon after require Mojave (10.14.6) as the minimum operating system to satisfy the first sentence.
