I'm please by the new title and caption features in Pages 10.1, but am unable to determine how to adjust the space below a title or above a caption. Setting the Text Inset of the title or caption to zero helps a but that also of course affects the horizontal positioning, and even so, the spacing is still too large for my purposes.
Apple is using an internal style for that caption box's separation from the image, and you will not be able (in my opinion) to close the gap between caption box and image. An option is to not use caption (or title) and adjoin your own custom Text box below the image at a distance you decide.
