ipad makes loud alarm like sound

While charging my iPad it started making a “whoopping“ sound. Sounds like an alarm. I unplugged it and the sound stopped. Plug back in and it was fine. It happens when my iPhone rings and the iPad is plugged in. I always use Apple chargers. No sounds like this are an option to select in the Sounds menu.

Appreciate a solution.
