The calendar search only goes back 1 year, but, if your calendar goes back further and you have your phone set to sync all events then a 3rd party calendar app such as WeekCalendar can search any date range.

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We understand you're attempting to search for events in Calendar on your iPhone from more than a year ago. We're happy to help!


First, make sure that "All Events" are set to sync under Settings > Calendar > Sync. Then, you should be able to search your Calendar using the search field: Search for events in Calendar on iPhone - Apple Support.
