Storage/memory

How can I transfer all my photos to iCloud? I have a 64G iPhone 11 and my phones storage is at its max but I'm paying for the 50GB for extra storage. Trying to figure out how to make more space on my iPhone... I'm not able to take photos unless I delete apps and older pictures. Or if there's another way to create more storage?

iPhone 11, iOS 13

iCloud is a syncing system, not an external 'hard drive'. If you delete them on your device, they will delete from iCloud. To increase space available, go Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos and select Optimize iPhone/iPad Storage. That will reduce the space required by about 90% when fully effective.

For what you want to do, you need a different cloud based solution such as Dropbox, OneDrive, or Flicker.
