my Apple TV shows “error loading content”

I downloaded the Disney Plus App and subscribed. Wanted to watch Hamilton which runs fine on the iPhone. When I click on the airplay button I get the response on the TV that an error occurred loading this content. Checked all connections, wifi, router etc. But every time same message.

By default the Apple TV will try to stream the content itself rather than airplay it from the phone. You can turn this setting off, but I'm wondering why you would want to Airplay the content when you have the Apple TV.

Thanks. Apple TV does not offer Hamilton movie, only Disney Plus, which you can’t get on Apple TV. That’s why I got the App on my iPhone where the movie runs fine. But clicking the Airplay button on the iPhone screen does not transfer the movie via AirPlay to the TV, which only shows “ download error”
