Paying for a macbook with gift cards and credit card

I have a few apple store gift cards but they dont add up to the total amount so i'd ike to pay for the remaining balance with a credit card is this allowed?

Yes, you can apply the gift cards (they must be Apple retail gift cards, not iTunes/App Store gift cards) to your balance and then supply a credit card to pay the remainder of the total.
