if I buy a iPad mini in Thailand from a authorised outlet if I have a issue with it will the Apple store in the uk honour the warranty claim ?

Your warranty rights will vary by country.


Apple offer a limited worldwide one year warranty in addition to any rights that you may have under consumer legislation in the country where the purchase is made.

Apple - One Year Limited Warranty - Worldwide


Warranties may be limited to the country in which the device is purchased - and as such, Apple may decline to honour warranty service outside of the country of origin.


That said, in some regions where consumer legislation applies, may have additional protection. For example, a device purchased within the EU will have its warranty fully honoured in any member state in which Apple have presence.


In summary, you’ll need to check the warranty terms that apply in the country of purchase. You can, however, seek clarification from an Apple Store, or Apple Support, if you intend to make a warranty claim; both will provide you with a definitive answer.
