Transcribe my pre-recorded voice memos

I recorded a voice memo that I’d like to transcribe into text and put the text on a video (like just a black square background with my spoken audio transcribed in real time. How do i do that? I cant convert it to text on the voice memos app.....

When i was driving yesterday, i had an “aha moment” and I recorded it as a voice memo. I want to share it as a video for people to visually see what I’m saying transcribed why am i making this complicated how do i do this

Perhaps using a 3rd party app from App Store. I've only heard about this one, but can't judge it since I do not need it:--> ‎Transcribe - Speech to Text on the App Store

Then you need a post-production app to put that text on your video(s). The best one (in my opinion) is iMovie.

Hi Marizzo,

I have tested a few transcription apps and this one called VoxRec (https://apps.apple.com/app/id1366603987) works for me. I use it for exactly that short recordings of ideas, both on my phone but often on my watch. It does not transcribe live while you record but the accuracy is pretty good. It also automatically sync all my recordings and transcriptions so I do not need to worry if I lose my phone or if something goes wrong.

Thanks! IIve tried that several times with lots of apps but they’re not free because you have to complete an in-app purchase to have it transcribed.

i don’t know much about iMovie, i need to learn because ive invested in more apple products lately. I use splice a lot.

i want to post it to social media -like instagram /fb/YouTube/ tiktok but the video formatting is different for every one of those apps. So i need a post production app that will allow me to save it in different sizes! Ya know?

Transcribe: didn't know about in-app purchases. Never tried that kind of apps.
