I see that the Apple Watch cellular requires a certain carrier from a list which doesn't include CREDO. Does this also apply to the Apple Watch GPS, in order for it to connect to the iPhone and use it to make emergency calls?
A Series 5 Cellular should still be able to make emergency calls, even if it does not have a contract
No the Gps only version will work just fine,just one proviso and that is to make calls and send texts you must have your phone with you.
The watch uses your phone's number to achieve this.
