There's a lot of factors that go into that decision. A battery replacement is $49: https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair/service/battery-power.


However if your iPhone 7 is in otherwise good condition, you can get up to $110 trade-in value towards a new phone: https://www.apple.com/shop/trade-in. The cheapest phone in the current lineup is the iPhone SE, starting at $399.


What do you use your phone for the most? That will help determine if there are new features in the latest iPhones that may make the upgrade worth it for you.
