iPod Touch not responding

Gen 7 iPod Touch has just a grey screen and does not respond to reset per Apple instructions and does not register/connect to my PC in iTunes. What are my options?

2nd hand iPod touch 6th generation stuck on connect to itunes Bought the little one a 2nd hand iPod touch 6th generation. It’s showing a cable and then says iTunes above it (assuming this means screen is stuck on connect to iTunes). It will not move to another screen, connected to a computer at my sister’s but too no avail (we are not good with technology). I don’t have a computer to connect to. I’ve tried a couple of suggestions I find online but nothing is working. Any help is much appreciated as the 8 year old is very disappointed. Thank you in advance
