Thanks for the image. That really helps a lot. Question - Was the screen of your iPhone 7 Plus ever replaced that you know of? I ask because any yellow discoloration or ink like splotches are signs of stress marks, as a result of too much pressure being applied to the LCD during screen replacement. There is more information here ➔ Yellow Spot / Discoloration after iPhone Screen Replacement.

Can you Force ReStart your iPhone 7 as shown in this guide by Apple ➔ How to Force ReStart your iPhone - Apple Support. See whether that resolves it. If that does not solve it then please I have two questions -

1. Does the spot move around on the screen?
2. What happens if you tap on it?
3. Is the dot in the middle of that circular spot?

• A Stain
• Glue based substance that got on it
• Bad pixelation on the screen
• Bad Logic board displaying a spot on the screen
• Air bubble under a glass screen protector
• A drop of urine

I can guess on and on and on and it will not answer your question. Please be more specific on what you are seeing when you describe the spot on the screen. Try and include a picture of the screen and spot. Please give us more information so that we can try and focus on one or two possible things. Thanks.
