Clock does not wake without pushing crown

I have wake screen set for both wrist rise and crown up, but today it stopped waking. I turned off the watch and started again. No change. Also, the "alarm" icon remains at top of watch face even though no alarm is set. Both things just started this afternoon.

I cannot figure out what happened or what to do. Has anyone else had this happen? Please advise.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, that was the first thing I tried. Then I found the culprit just this morning - "theater mode" had been accidentally turned on. Since I've never used it before, I didn't know that it was the culprit.

Pretty simple, I guess, but not if you have never seen it before.

Thanks again for the advice.

Best always.
