My favorites disappeared overnight from icloud

My favorites has been stored in icloud, but the disappeared overnight, what is wrong?

See - If your iCloud or Safari bookmarks aren’t syncing - Apple Support.

anyway I restored the bookmarks from icloud which somehow they were cancelled, still I don't know what I did wrong
