Audio of not playing from ipad to monitor and we are using digital connector.

I am trying to connect an ipad to a computer monitor using the Lightening Digital AV connector. The video is displaying but not the audio.

When connecting to my monitor (Ben Q) I only get video, no audio. I have tried the following fixes. ensuring volume on iPad, in app, in control centre and in sound settings is at max. turning off sound restrictions turning off bluetooth resetting iPad settings multiple apps and HDMI cables Monitor audio is max and works with other HDMI devices. Ipad no sound when connected to an ho monitor via hdmi with no speakers I would like to know how i can make the sounds come from my ipad pro when connected to the external monitor that doesnt have any speakers
