Can I make a cash payment (in advance) at the apple store even for an iPad that is not available at that moment?

Can’t add a card to Apple Wallet - iPhone 14 Pro I’ve just changed my phone to the iPhone 14 Pro. When trying to add my debit card to the wallet it says “unable to add card” I previously used the same card with my previous phone and watch for Apple Pay with no issues. Apple said to contact my bank, contacted my bank, they said to contact Apple. The phone is up to date with the latest software and has a strong wifi connection. Ive tried adding the card several times, signed out of my Apple ID and then back in again, restarted iPhone to no avail. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Since we are all other users here and do not work for Apple, it would be best for you to check with Apple. I have not seen anything about being able to pay in advance.
