Can’t update apps when using update all

I have automatic updates active on my iPhone 8+ and they are not updating automatically. So when I go in and push update all button it then says sign into Apple ID which I would but it only have the password option available to enter. I then enter my password and it says Apple ID or password incorrect. I have not changed either of these things. Help! This is frustrating.
