Looking to upgrade my sever for my company and need advice on which sever is the best/compatible with latest Apple computers. We currently have 2020 macbook pro and iMac.

Hire a business consultant. We don't know if there are any legal requirements like HIPAA, client leagl records, tax records and reporting, etc. You don't need a server recommendation, you need a business solution.

What do you expect the server to do?
What kind of server (web, DB, Network, file, backup, VPN, Account, ...)?
Our server houses all of the project files, image and file resources, contract, etc.
Hire a Business IT consultant. We have no idea what the information/data and legal requirements of your business are.
It will be to store client jobs, resources (ie images, logos). Right now we have it hooked up to the ethernet, but I would like it to have VPN so contractors can access the folders remotely.
