How do I connect a 4th generation IPAD to an LG HD 5K MONITOR?

A 4th generation iPad is from 2012, and is not supported with the LG 5K monitor.

If you mean a 4th gen 12.9" iPad Pro, ten you need to connect the USB-C cable from the iPad's charging port to the Monitor's input USB-C port on the back.
