My iMac operates with the most recent High Sierra 10.13.6 and the June first security update. Why can't I access My.dish.com?

Did you install any third party antivirus apps, VPN, proxy?

Try closing Safari then while pressing and holding the shift key launch Safari. This launches Safari in a clean state.

Try a different browser.

What‘s the text of the error message being reported? Maybe this one?

The requested URL was rejected. Please consult with your administrator.

Your support ID is: {long string of characters}

That usually means the website is having issues. The administrator referenced is the website administrator.

Clear your cookies and your saved website data, and try again. That might untangle the website. Might. Probably not.

It’s also possible you’re running some network security software, a content filter, or an add-on VPN client, and those are malfunctioning. Those tools can intercept and mess with network connections, and those tools can fail.

This error can arise across any web browser. It’s not tied to Safari, and is quite possibly unrelated to what you’re doing.

Thanks, Bob. I didn't install any 3rd party antivirus app, or VPN or proxy. The Dish CSR had me clean my cookies and try Chrome. I didn't try launching Safari cleanly. But next day I have no trouble accessing the website. So probably Mr Hoffman was right about it being a Dish website problem. It takes talent to answer questions at the level of the ask and my level was reached!
