adding to Apple Cash

I've loaded my bank debit card onto my phone and I've previously used it to add $ to Apple Cash. I tried adding my debit card again, but it said it said "unable to add money. Use a debit card ..." So I tried adding my debit card again. It wouldn't let me, saying it was already in my wallet. My iOS is current And I powered off and back on. Still won't let me add $ to Apple Cash.
