Apple Watch Series 3 Screen Glitch

I have never had any problems with my Apple Watch, and I have had it for about 2.5 years now.

I had just taken my Apple Watch off of its charger (fully charged) and put it back onto my wrist. I believe that something in a show that I was watching caused Siri to open up, but then the screen glitched and the Siri line is now frozen on my screen. I tried to hard reset my watch by holding down both of the buttons, and the screen will go black after 10 seconds but then the Siri line is back on the screen. Is there anything to do to fix it, or has my watch died?

Hi TrizzleF,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you are having trouble with your Apple Watch screen being frozen. We’re happy to help.

To start, try restarting your watch using the steps in the article below under the section labeled “Force restart your Apple Watch.” Keep in mind that you will want to continue to hold the buttons until you see the Apple logo.

If that doesn’t help, try unpairing your Apple Watch and setting it up again. When you unpair your Apple Watch, it is automatically backed up as long as your paired iPhone is signed into iCloud.
