hi paul,


This might be what you're looking for.



Numbers has a copy style and paste style that is, I believe, similar to format painter in Excel.



  • First select the cell to copy the style from and select format - copy style from the menu


  • Select the cell (or range of cells) to apply the style to then select format - paste style from the menu




-or-


Right click in the menu bar and select Customize Toolbar - drag the copy style and paste style to the menu bar. Numbers uses an eye dropper Icon as apposed to the Excel Paint Brush.



Just follow the same procedure as outlined above except click on the copy style, paste style icons instead.
