Phone calls are disconnect when my face touches the screen

Has anyone had issues with their phone calls being disconnected with your face touches the screen? I happen to have the 11Pro Max

Windows, Windows 10

It appears you may be having an issue with the proximity sensor on your iPhone.


This sensor is part of the display and it tells the devices when you are using the phone function (as opposed to speakerphone) and it should dim the display and make it inactive in terms of touch input. The most likely and common cause of issues with this sensor is a screen protector or case that blocks the sensor. If you are using a screen protector, you'll want to remove it and then test.
