Just set up my iPhone SE 2020 and having problems with portrait mode....is it really true that it only works on humans and not pets or inanimate objects? Works fine on my iPhone 7plus 😩

Are you saying that iPhone 7+ has portrait mode for pets and not on iPhone SE (2nd Gen)
Comparing it with iPhone 8+ I can understand but with iPhone 7+
iPhone SE 2nd Gen can apply and adjust different lighting effects to your Portrait mode photos not on iPhone 7+
Absolutely...Portrait mode works on pets on iPhone 7plus, I use it loads for instagram posts of my pugs...I liked the idea that you have so many options with lighting effects etc on the SE 2020 and it’s smaller to carry about and that’s why I went for it, but am fuming either it wasn’t clear it won’t work on this phone or I missed it. May return it to Apple now 😩
The 7 Plus has 2 physical cameras. The SE does not.
The SE (and the iPhone 11, as well as the Xr) do not have the hardware to handle portrait mode like the 7 Plus did. They do it in software instead.
