Mapping of keys - stop me getting RSI

To switch between different apps I press the COMMAND key + TAB key, this works well.

Unfortunately, to switch between instances of the same app, the COMMAND key + ` key is really awkward as the keys are too close together, it would have been much better if the key combination were COMMAND key + SS key (double S key).

Doing this horrible hand movement over and over is giving me RSI. How can the mapping be changed? I have looked everywhere. I am on Catalina 10.15.5 with a UK keyboard.

On Sierra I see a Keyboard Shortcut of Command + ` for "Move focus to next window". Launch the System Preferences and select the Keyboard preference pane. Click on the "Shortcuts" tab, then select "Keyboard" in the left pane and you should see the "Move focus to next window".

You will need to remove the key combination from the other command first before you can use that key combination for yourself. Other than the key combinations listed in the Keyboard Shortcuts I don't know if there is any way to remove the hot keys from the system. I don't customize keyboard shortcuts so I'm unable to provide further details or guidance. Sorry.
