I have a Mac Pro (mid 2012) - which is down as not being able to run Catalina in its original spec.
However I upgraded the Graphics card to a Metal Compatible : Radeon RX 580 8 GB.
Processor : 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Memory: 32 GB 1066 MHz DDR 3
Start up disc SSD
Would this now be able to run Catalina?

Sorry, Apple does not support running Catalina on that model Mac.
You would have to resort to unauthorized hobbyist patcher.

Using a Patcher might void your generous 1 year Apple warranty.
seeing as it’s now 8 years old ... not really relevant...the changes I made would have voided the warranty anyway ... I now have a 500g SSD and 20TB storage - way over the original specs....
