Two factor authentication

I have an I phone 8. I tried to setup apple tv to watch a movie but the website is not user friendly. They made me turn on two factor authentication to be able to log into apple tv. Now i cannot turn off the two factor authentication.

So not only was i unable to watch a movie on apple tv now i have a useless feature i don't want to use on my phone. I logged into my apple account but still wont let me disable this. This is one of the many reason i will never buy an apple product again.

Please help before i throw this phone in the garbage and go get something i can control.

If it has been less than two weeks, see the following from Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support

If you recently updated your account, you can unenroll within two weeks of enrollment. Just open your enrollment confirmation email and click the link to return to your previous security settings. Keep in mind, this makes your account less secure and means that you can't use features that require higher security.
