Slow download of purchased show

I've purchased a season of a TV show and want to download the 30+ episodes. I selected one episode and it initiated a download at less (much less) than a desirable download speed.

I'm on a 350 Mbps download link that I have verified with several online speed test sites. My download of the one episode of my season purchase is probably less than 9,600 kbps. I laughed. Aborted the download of that episode and randomly chose another episode in the series. Horrendously slow download that would take days for just one episode.

Audio streaming and other applications run fine over the Internet on my connection except for my download attempts at Apple. This is very frustrating and totally unacceptable.
