IPad 3rd generation
My IPad has A2152 as the model number on the back of my IPad but, it has a 9.7” display. I’m confused because everything I’ve read say the A2152 has a 10.5” display, so what do I have?

You need to verify your device model number from Settings > General > About.
iPad Air 3 (A2152) has a 10.5” screen. This iPad is based upon the iPad Pro 10.5”.
iPad 3 (i.e., the third generation iPad) is a much older device with a 9.7” screen. iPad 3 was released March 2012; support ended in September 2016.

Are you measuring your screen along the long edge - or across the diagonal?
Screen sizes are always measured across the diagonal of the visible screen - excluding any bezels.
I measured it along the top edge...let me remeasure it diagonally. This all started when I ordered a case for it and it was to small. OK, now it is 10.7” on the diagonal. Thank you SO much! I can’t believe in all the research I’ve done that way of measuring don’t show up! I REALLY appreciate your help and fast response...😀 Liz
As I stated, the model number in setting and on the back of my iPad say A2152 which I belated for a 10.5” display but, mine
has a 9.7” display. That’s why I’m confused? Thanks Liz
