Rotating text to print at 45 degree and 90 degree angles from horizontal

I have about 6 lines of text that I need to print on the back of a legal document. It has to printed two different ways on the document.

1. It needs to be printed at a 45 degree angle to the page it is printed on.
2. It has to be rotated so that it prints vertically (90 degree angle) on the page instead of horizontally.

How can I rotate the text. I assume it first must be put into an "image" as opposed to text, but then how do I rotate the image so I can print it at the two angles required. Can I do this in Pages, or possibly other software?

In your page, click the T-in-a-box icon in the toolbar to create a 'text box'. Fill in your text.

Click the 'inspector' button in the toolbar. In the pane which opens, click the diagonal ruler icon in the toolbar ('Metrics'). At the bottom is a wheel you can use to rotate your text, or you can enter an angle, or just flip the box.

You can still edit the text after rotation: click it twice. The box will revert to horizontal to allow you to edit, and revert to the angle when you click away.
