FYI, Create more than one trusted phone number, landline can also be used.
If someone knows your IMEI they can report the phone as stolen, which would permanently blacklist it.
It's not good but not dangerous.
Someone can use/copy/report the IMEI to carrier/police.
Who knows.
They can clone it with stolen iPhone.

Because i went to a store to get my battery changed then he asked me to open my phone and see they imei and he wrote it down and i didn’t think about it then i went to google that and i am now worried
