Unable to connect my kobo aura on or Libra to my MBP 13 2017 all updates done on both devices.

Thank you, I did contact them, and the main issue was when connecting the USB to usb-C. When using a third party adapter, I just needed to connect the USB from the Kobo to the USB C adapter, then connect the adapter to the MAC, and not vice versa.
