Prepare Airpods for Sale

Hi,

I want to sell my AirPods 2nd-Gen (wired charging case). I have followed the steps from the support page, but still able to view the device from Find My app (something that's not mentioned there) so I also remove the device. I wonder if there are more steps I need to do before selling it? Now if I move it closer to my iPhone, it says 'Not your Airpods.'

I just want to make sure I did everything right. And I'm sure someone already asked but I can't find similar question about this.
