Passwords

I want my bank to require my thumbprint on iPad. Right now it just says use previous password and then opens. Not too secure!

banking app auto fill password via passcode Since updating my iPhone to iOS 16.7.1, my CIBC banking app no longer allows me to use my passcode to auto fill my banking password. I don't want to use Face ID as I want to be as private as I can. I'm just trying to figure out why the keychain no longer works for my banking app. The keychain works for all the other apps I have, just not my banking one, and it's frustrating having to input my password over and over.

Can’t change password I’m logged in on iPad but when I try to reset password it asks for a password. I have both fingerprint and whatever it’s called when they text your cel activated.

This is something the bank would have to implement into their application. Let them know that this is something you would like.
