What is the best dictation App for manuscripts for my Mac Book Pro Sierra version 10.12.2. I have 2.2GHZ

i7 with 4GB memory and 512 mb HD Intel Graphics?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.12

You could upgrade to High Sierra which has dictation capability.

If you have the 2011 model you should upgrade the amount of RAM installed to more than 6GB. That MacBook Pro can accept upto 16GB max.

if you have the 2015 model, its RAM can not be upgraded. So if it performs poorly, you may need to upgrade to a (new or used) computer that better meets your needs.
