Forgot Screen Time passcode on iPhone 6.

I have forgotten my Screen Time passcode on my iPhone 6. It has iOS 12 on it. After checking If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support, I have found out that to reset it, you need to press the home button in the process. My home button does not work and there's no repair center near me (due to coronavirus). Is there any other way to get rid of it? Maybe with AppleID?

Hello Rashmi182,

It sounds like you have forgotten the Screen Time passcode and are tying to erase the device however the home button does not work. You could always erase the device using iCloud, however typically once a device is erased you need to press the home button to begin the set up process. It would be best to contact Apple Support to determine what options are currently available.

If you want to try and erase your iPhone using iCloud, check out this excerpt for support.

"If you're using iCloud and Find My [device] on the device, sign in to iCloud.com/find or the Find My app on another device, select the device, and click Erase. After the device has been erased, click Remove from Account."

What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Cheers!
