change ram macbook pro 2014

Hi,

I have a Macbook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014) with a memory of 8 Go 1600 MHz DDR3.

I want to upgrade to 16 G of memory but I read somewhere that I cannot change the RAM on that model.

Is it true ?

Thanks

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

since at least the 2013 models, the RAM in MacBook Pro has been soldered down for increased reliability.

No field upgrades are available at any price.

To upgrade, convert you MacBook Pro to Cash (by selling it) and buy a new or used computer that better meets your needs.
