Cellular Error

My son's iPhone 7 has not been able to use cellular for at least a month. I've updated the system software and installed all new iTunes software. It still says he needs a cellular update, but there is nowhere to do that. Would it be wise to erase and reset everything? We are with Verizon. I'm not sure it that makes a difference. Thank you!

If following the steps to update does not resolve the problem, do it again and this time choose Restore rather than Update.
